"Title" Starring: Troy Devereaux, Kai Sanxhez Out of Character: This one is super late posted but I wasn't going to let Jade's hard work go to waste. :D
Troy Devereaux: "Ladies and Gentlemen on this edition of Spot On we have someone who's being blowing up as of late and just happens to be my best friend. Please look to your left at the man standing beside me in this ring. The ever so talented ladies man... KAI SANCHEZ!" Kai Sanchez: "Troy my man, thanks for having me on the show." Troy Devereaux: "It's not a problem my friend but it's time the world got more insight on you. You call yourself a triple threat - Wrestler/Stripper/DJ, do you worry that the diversity between these three occupations could be more damaging to you rather than helpful? Not many male wrestlers admit to being a stripper after all..." Kai Sanchez: "I don’t worry about that at all. It’s just a part of who I am and I’m not ashamed of any aspects of my previous and current endeavours. The thing is with me Troy, I’m a proud person – sure I may be a stripper on the side of my wrestling career, but I’m a damn good one too. Anything I put my mind to, I try my damndest to excel and be the best in that field. Who the hell would pay for an ‘average’ stripper? I don’t do ‘average’, the word alone is enough to turn my stomach. Are a lot of the guys in the back going to rib me about the stripper/dancer thing? They probably will but hey that’s okay, its water off a duck’s back to this party boy. You’d actually be surprised with how helpful my dancing past has helped me inside the ring. I’m a lot more agile and light on my feet once I’m out there and anyone that denies needing natural rhythm in the squared circle is lying. It’s a massive plus as far as I’m concerned. The haters will go on and hate, but the truth is – their girlfriends/wives/boyfriends/husbands will be lusting over me when they go to bed at night, so who’s really getting the last laugh? That’s what I thought." Troy Devereaux: "Can you tell us about the nature of your relationship with Camille Westwood and Christy LeFleur? You have two girlfriends right? Isn't there any jealousy in this unorthodox arrangement?" Kai Sanchez: "I don’t really have a great deal to say about this, I mean what you see is what you get – we’re not hiding anything from anyone or each other. There’s no jealousy involved between Christy, Camille and I – that’s not our style. None of us are the ‘jealous type’. It may be an unusual predicament for most people to get their heads around, but we’re not most people. The arrangement works just fine for us. We live together, sleep together and now – work together. We all have a high sex drive and yeah – we love a good time. What’s not to love? It’s an open-relationship between the three of us and although we’re party people, by no means are we swingers or anything sordid like that. Loyalty is a strong factor in this triangle – as confusing as that may sound to some." Troy Devereaux: "One of your girlfriends Camille has a pretty foul attitude towards anyone with a pulse, yet you're completely the opposite - how does that work and why is she like this?" Kai Sanchez: "I dunno, I guess it’s the whole ‘acid’ and ‘alkaline’ thing that we’ve got going on. Camille’s been the way she is since she broke up with her ex Steve Kella, five years ago. I don’t know what happened in their relationship but something triggered an attitude adjustment for Camille and it’s stuck ever since. I haven’t probed at her to get to the bottom of what made her snap with Steve as it’s none of my business and I’m not interested about hearing stories relating to her exes, neither is Christy. Let me get one thing perfectly straight though, I may come across as a laid back and fun loving lad – but I’m pretty much the only person that can put Cammy in her place when she steps out of line. I’m not talking about from a wrestling standpoint but away from the cameras – behind closed doors… and not physically either. Before I get that line thrown at me by someone. It’s a mental thing, I’m not asking people to understand. Yes she’s brash and arrogant but I wouldn’t have her any other way – the same goes for the delicious Miss LeFleur too." Troy Devereaux: "With the Tag Team Championships now held by Huntress & Invincible - do you see yourself entering into the division with either LeFleur or Westwood to challenge the Champs?" Kai Sanchez: "You know, that thought never even entered my mind until you just brought it up. It’s definitely food for thought but I’d probably be happier pursuing the singles’ title picture for now. That starts with the Overdrive Championship at Shove It. Perhaps Camille and Christy could form a little Tag Team of their own and go after the Championships – they’d easily be the sexiest team in the history of this sport. [He would smile to himself for a moment or so, whilst thinking to himself] Yeah I kinda like that idea actually – the thought of all three of us holding Championships in IWC is very sexy. Me with the Overdrive belt and my girls with the Tag Gold. It screams dominance and I’m all for that." Troy Devereaux: "What is your primary focus in IWC?" Kai Sanchez: "My primary focus right now is to win the Beat the Clock challenge at Shove It and win the Overdrive Championship. That’s all that’s on my mind and believe me when I tell you – I’m working my ass off in the gym and in the IWC training facility to ensure that it happens. I know Nikki Venom is one hell of a competitor and I have a lot of respect for him – yeah I said it. The guy has been through quite a lot in this company and I’d be ignorant not to give the fella any kind of props for his rocky journey so far. It’s going to be one hell of a match at Shove It but I’m more than prepared for what is in store. What I have to focus on is defeating the Panic and doing it in a quicker time than Jordan Jones defeats Ace – or vice versa. The Overdrive Championship would mean a lot to me and I don’t think many people actually understand that so far, which is fine. Shove It marks my first match in IWC and I’m extremely grateful, even honored to be considered for the opportunity, let alone the coveted main event slot on the card. I’ve got it all to play for and I plan on giving Nikki one hundred percent at Shove It – nothing less than the best I can offer him. Should the hard work pay off and I capture the Overdrive Championship – I wanna be the guy that brings the belt a strong, respectable reign. I know that once I’m Overdrive Championship – the theory is; I’m able to cash it in at any time for a shot at your Championship Troy. But I’m not one to jump the gun and put too much on my plate – no disrespect to you mate, but I’d like a couple of victories and title defences under my belt before I cash in and move up the ladder to go against you." Troy Devereaux: "Who do you like the look of in IWC in terms of wrestling ability and character?" Kai Sanchez: "Well I’ve kind of already mentioned on Twitter that I respect what you did at The Assault when you defeated Nora Blade for the North American Championship, Troy. Nora Blade was a hell of a competitor here in IWC but you overcame her, so credit where credit is due. I also respect your friend Alexandra Kelly. Any woman that can pin my girl Camille down to the mat for a three count is solid in my books. Then there’s also Nikki Venom – he’s had a good little run in this company as I stated previously – and he never gave up when Kia demoted him to the dreaded Dark Match slot. I commend guys like that… with a ‘Never Say Die’ attitude; it’s what makes this business thrive and so much more meaningful to be a part of." Troy Devereaux: "We have already seen you exchange a few words with Jordan 'The Destroyer' Jones - albeit calmly, are there any other wrestlers on the roster you can see yourself having a problem with in the upcoming weeks?" Kai Sanchez: "As of right now, the only person that I see as problem… well I wouldn’t even call him a ‘problem’ – more of an obstacle, he is Nikki Venom. At present he is standing in my way of becoming the Overdrive Champion – and all obstacles inevitably need to be overcome. Shove It is the stage where I plan on doing that. Then there’s the winner of the Ace/Jordan Jones match… but I’m confident in my own abilities that I can set a better time than either one of those dudes – so we’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out." Troy Devereaux: "One word association game time. For each person that shows up on this monitor you call off the first thing in mind.... GO!": Dakota Huntress – "Fighter." Ian Johnson – "Unique." Jordan Jones – "Unintentionally hilarious… wait – that was two, do I lose the game?" You (Troy) – "Determined." Alexandra Kane – "Feisty." Christy LeFleur - "Bombshell." Camille Westwood – "Bitch." Johnny Invincible – "Smart." Kia Skye – "Cunning." Tanja Devereaux – "Spicy." Triple H – "Washed up… oops, that’s two again, my bad." Nikki Venom – "Intense." Matt Ward – "Who?" Ace – "Fun." Gunner Raynes – "Samoan?" Troy Devereaux: "Do you feel that because you're brand new to the wrestling scene, you are at a disadvantage amongst your peers in any way?" Kai Sancehz: "No more than anybody else is right now. I understand that people don’t know a great deal about me but that’s really a double-edge sword as far as I’m concerned. It plays in my favor as much as it stands against me. It’s inevitable I’ll get the ‘who the hell are you’ jeers from my fellow IWC colleagues – I already have over Twitter from Jones. Yet I feel I’ve got a whole lot more to prove than these other guys. Guys and girls that have already carved out names for themselves in previous establishments as well as this one. Like I said before – Shove It is the event where I answer my critics and the nay-sayers. I inform them all as to who the hell I am, and what I can offer the IWC and the Overdrive Championship. Just keep your eyes peeled for the main event this week – that’s all I ask." Troy Devereaux: "If you happen to become the new overdrive champion, you have the opportunity to cash in for a shot at my North American championship... Can I guarantee and clean and straight forward battle?" Kai Sanchez: "Good question. Well Troy, I can guarantee that you can expect a clean battle from me. I’m not making any promises that it’ll ever be a ‘straight forward’ bout though, if and when we go toe to toe in ring. Not because of any interferences or anything dark/sinister like that – I mean in terms of what we can bring to the bout. We’re both innovators who like to go that extra mile, guys that can bounce one another’s wrestling style off each other to ensure we have the most fantastic match the IWC universe has ever witnessed. To ensure the folks in the crowd got their money’s worth and then some – leaving them wanting more when it’s all over. I believe you’re the guy to bring that out in me – and I’m certain that I can do the same for you. Unlike my girl Camille – I’m not about cheap, underhand tactics that trigger a rise from someone; it’s not in my nature to be like that. Simply put it – it’s not my style. If things go my way like I’m planning at Shove It… when I eventually go on to face you – we’re going to bring the house down and it’s going to be innovative wrestling! That’s my promise to you." Troy Devereaux: "Kai, it was great to have you on the show man. Now let's go get those ladies of ours and head out! Until next time." |
